Azimuth was formed in 1985, performing concerts the first 10 years and evolving into the studio music ministry we are today. Our music is produced for the radio and this project took much heart and pain, yet meant-to-be and ended up classic. The “Above and Beyond” concept goes hand in hand with the Azimuth meaning, a star gauging term as we’re reaching towards Heaven waiting to join our Lord and Savior.
We wish to thank: Jesus Christ, our reason for being, His love alone is sufficient and without Him this music would be pointless. Ed Goldfarb for sticking with the process for so many years and completing a masterpiece. Your devotion, love, brilliance and unmatched talent tied the scattered pieces of this project together. Without you, Ed, our music would have gathered dust in a drawer and not have reached countless ears for Him! Paul A Fox who put every fiber of talent into our three Pop CD projects for 13 years and his efforts will live many more. Jeff Stuart Saltzman for staying with us so many years, your mastering efforts were priceless!
Rhesa Siregar for co-writing five inspired songs with us Your heart and genius helped us achieve a higher excellence He expects, thanks bro! Rick Founds (writer of “Lord, I Lift Your Name On High”) for your Spirit led lyrics on “Adoration.” Fellow songwriters Elton Smith, Larry Holder and Dave Cooley for opening our eyes to praise and worship so we could reach into churches with this project. Chuck Brown for your friendship and guidance in promotion matters and helping us expand to solo piano. And last, but never least, to all the former members of Azimuth who helped spread His word, those snapshots in time are held in many hearts.
